I hope you don't loose power too. Here, we usually don't loose power from storms as the wires are below ground. We've had frequent power losses over the last 10 years from old infrastructure.

The snow is heavy now here, coming down at about 2" per hour. Since I removed the slush, we've got about 6 more inches so far.

but I've cancelled my hotel for tomorrow night in DC.

It's official. We now have had the snowiest winter on record with a total of 67.5 inches of snow at dullas airport.
