Pat downs, puffers or full body scans – what’s your preference?

“See-through technology” makes its début — Thirty-eight of full-body imaging machines arrive at ten of America’s busiest airports between now and this fall. They look through clothing to create an explicit silhouette of the traveler — showing shapes, folds of fat and other anatomical characteristics — all in the cause of identifying possible hidden objects.
