Heavy snow last Monday forced Air France to cancel 150 out of 400 scheduled flights from Roissy. Three thousand passengers had to stay at nearby hotels while another 2000 people camped out in the airport’s terminals. Paris simply isn’t prepared for snow or frigid temperatures.

British Airways has just introduced Open Skies that originates from JFK airport in the US and doesn’t treat its passengers as cargo. Americans are hardly rich, even though there’s talk of a psychological barrier being passed, now that the dollar is clocking in at less than 1.50 euros.
