Aloha airlines may be going bye-bye, or saying hello to a buyer. The airline said in U.S. Bankruptcy Court on last week that it was in discussions to sell all or some of its company, the Associated Press reports. The airline filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last Thursday, about two years after emerging from bankruptcy. Aloha’s attorneys said the company’s passenger services, air cargo and contract services, which include U.S. mail shipments, were for sale, according to the report. The carrier said it will continue to fly as long as a bankruptcy court accepts the airline’s financial plan to keep operating. The company told the court it had $3.5 million remaining in cash, but expenses over the next 10 days would take $2.3 million of that.
