American expected to cancel 900 flights today
After canceling more than 1,000 flights yesterday, American Airlines is expecting more than 900 cancellations today.
Get ready for more airport chaos. Hopefully, passengers will have better information than yesterday when some went through the online check-in process only hours before heading to the airport and then found their flight canceled when they went to the gate.
This maintenance oversight and the failure to do the inspections properly when American canceled hundreds of flights late last month are dramatic management failures.
Are these are the same managers American needed to reward with hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses only a year or so ago?
