And now a Southwest lawsuit

Four Alabama passengers have filed a lawsuit against Southwest Airlines over its recent missed inspections. According to the Associated Press, the customers claim breach of contract, unjust enrichment and negligent and reckless operation of an aircraft in their suit. The plaintiffs are seeking class-action status and could include hundreds of thousands of people who traveled on Southwest planes from January 2002 through last month. The suit was filed in Friday in federal court in Birmingham, Ala. Lew Garrison, a lawyer representing the plaintiffs, said the suit seeks reimbursement for tickets on those flights and punitive damages for negligence. Southwest did not comment for the article.
