Family-only seating?
It’s not likely that airlines will offer seating areas exclusively for those with children in tow. Here’s why. An Air Transport Association spokesperson told Aviation.com that such a plan, although favored by some, would be “logistically difficult” to implement. So if family-only seating is just a pipe dream, what can passengers do to survive a trip while sitting near a rambunctious toddler? The author shares a few tips:
- three words: noise canceling headphones
- sit in the exit row (no kids allowed)
- fly very early in the morning
- speak up for yourself
