Gas hits record high

A gallon of gas hit a new record, above $3.30 a gallon, Friday and was poised to rise higher in the coming weeks. According to an Associated Press report, gas prices rose 1.4 cents overnight putting it 60 cents higher than a year ago. Analysts expect gas to continue to rise, no matter if oil prices rise or fall. Some say prices could spike at $4 a gallon later this spring, according to the report. Producers are cutting back on gasoline production because current crude prices are so high. Less gas plus more demand equals higher prices for consumers.
