Gasoline saving tips
Here are some tips for saving gas on your next summer road trip. CNNMoney.com suggests doing the following when you take the family on the road:
- Don’t overpack your vehicle.
- Use cruise control when possible.
- Plan routes where traffic will be light
- Use your air conditioning if you want (it has little effect on fuel consumption)
- Drive at a moderate speed
