Governor Spitzer, just one follow-up question …
There he was: Crossing the street at Central Park South and Fifth. In a suit, carrying a briefcase. With the same toothy look as always.
Eliot Spitzer.
The former governor of New York. Former federal prosecutor. Former presidential possibility. And former (presumably) user of high-priced hookers.
No entourage. No bodyguards. No state police escorts.
Nothin’.
Just him, walking across the street, alone, on a bright sunny day. Just a few months after he resigned.
No need to ask him for an autograph any more (not that I ever would have). But, oh, how the mighty have fallen.
And how interesting are the things you see on the streets of New York.

Peter, who gives a rip? Why did this even appear here? Is being star-struck by the likes of a disgraced ex-guv the best you can do?
Please, lay off the fanzine **** and give us something that matters to today’s traveler.
LOL, I live in NYC…..I remember seeing a sign held by a homeless man right after the story broke……………..he was wrapped in a blanket near Times Square. He was sitting on the cold concrete with a sign that said………….
I NEED $4,300 DOLLARS.
SO I CAN GET ME A GIRLFRIEND.
JUST LIKE GOVERNOR SPITZER…
What’s the point of this post? Famous people are seen on a daily basis in New York City.
In fact, there are 2 well known people who live in the same apt. building as I do. Should I post everytime I run into one of them in the elevator?
For the vast majority of us that do not live in NY… who gives a flip?
What, on Earth, does this have to do with travel? Maybe Peter Zollman needs a productive hobby?
