Infant dies at Honolulu Airport

A 14-day old boy from American Samoa, died last month while being detained by U.S. immigration officials at the Honolulu International Airport. The Honolulu Advertiser reports that the infant, Michael Futi, was traveling to Hawaii with his mother, father and a nurse for heart surgery. While in detention, the infant went into respiratory arrest and died. The family is reportedly planning a wrongful death lawsuit.
