Jet blows tires, aborts takeoff from LAX
A 747 carrying 232 passengers blew four of its tires during take off at Los Angeles International Airport late Monday. According to an Associated Press report, none of the passengers or crew were hurt during the incident on Qantas Flight 12 to Sydney, Australia. Passengers were put up in hotels and placed on Tuesday flights.
