American Airlines criticizes ABC miniseries on 9/11 — Executives with American Airlines say they are outraged at the depiction of the airline in the ABC miniseries The Path to 9-11. Airline spokesman Roger Frizzell said Monday that the miniseries falsely portrays an American gate agent at Boston’s Logan Airport allowing a terrorist onto a flight despite a warning that he might have been a threat. Comair warns pilots about signs at Kentucky airport — Comair has begun warning pilots to use “extreme caution” navigating runways at the airport where a crash killed 49 people, saying some diagrams aren’t accurate, according to an e-mail obtained Monday by The Associated Press. (AP)
Average gas price falls 11 cents a gallon — Gasoline prices continue to tumble, almost free-falling toward levels not seen in five months. The nationwide average for regular was $2.618 a gallon, the Energy Information Administration reported Monday. That was 10.9 cents lower than a week earlier. (USA Today)
