Meet a ‘Director of Pet Relations’
The Hotel Monaco in San Francisco presents Maverick, a rescued chocolate Labrador, its “Director of Pet Relations.” As Kitty Bean Reports in USA Today’s Hotel Hotsheet, the Hotel Monaco is the 11th Kimpton property so have such a pet ambassador. Maverick’s duties include welcoming guests, making appearances at business meetings and hanging out at the daily complimentary wine hour.

Many of the Hotel Monaco properties have pets in this role. In Downtown Denver the famous pet Director “retired” after several years and a farewell party was held in his honor. KVigil
