Praying passenger removed from flight
An Orthodox Jewish man was removed from a United Airlines flight for failing to follow instructions of flight attendants as he left his seat to pray during takeoff. Fellow passenger Ori Brafman told the Associated Press that the man couldn’t acknowledge the flight attendants until his prayers were over — about two minutes time. “He doesn’t respond to them, but his friends explain that once you start praying you can’t stop,” Brafman, who was seated three rows away, told the AP. The plane, Flight 9 to San Francisco, took off without the man. It landed at its destination as scheduled, the AP reports. Robin Urbanski, a spokeswoman for United Airlines, a subsidiary of UAL Corp. with headquarters in Chicago, told the AP that the man was taken off the plane and put on another flight Thursday morning.

Ok, when is the lawsuit coming?
You want to pray at a certain time, stay home or your place of worship.
Frankly these people make me sick.
You pray I will complain.
I go to church on Sunday’s, I pray in my house and at church.
Can wait for the phones on planes. I’m practicing my back hand swing.
There are specific rules and regulations pertaining to planes and flights. This man made a poor decision as to when to pray. i applaud the airline for removing him from the flight. He’s lucky he didn’t get charged for not following the instructions of a flight crew member - and if he ever, ever does it again, he most certainly should be.
Sure, have freedom of religion, but that does not include the right to violate laws, disrupt others, etc.
As I recall, the 9/11 hijackers all prayed together before departure.
Your right to public prayer stops at my right to safety. Stay at home if you can’t follow simple safety rules.
