Real ID will strike 4 states soon

If four states — Maine, Montana, New Hampshire and South Carolina — don’t have a Real ID system mandated by our Senators and Congressmen, in place in three months, their citizens will not be able to board airplanes. Or these states can apply for a waiver like the 46 other states have. Nothing like a law that Congress passes but doesn’t fund and then gives everyone a waiver on following. Senator Lamar Alexander is livid about Congress passing laws that cost millions and millions of dollars and sending them down to the states. He is trying to stop the law or suggests

“… we should … send the name and phone number of every Senator and Congressman who voted for Real ID down to all the people in these four states, and when they are not allowed to get on an airplane because they don’t have the right ID card, they can call us and tell us what they think about it.

It’s wonderful when our Senators and Congressmen think ahead.
