United ups fuel surcharge
United Airlines is boosting its fuel surcharge to $10 (from $4) per round trip in an effort to trim losses from rising jet fuel prices, the Associated Press reports. The new fares took effect a day after the price for a barrel of crude jumped to a new trading record near $106.
