“Unmuzzled” air marshals
The head of the TSA is going to allow air marshals to speak directly to lawmakers.
After a cantankerous relationship between TSA and their air marshals ranging from dress codes to the training of ex-baggage screeners for the service, government executives have enough confidence in the system to allow workers direct access to lawmakers.
Of course everything they say will probably be coded as “secret,” especially comments regarding just how many air marshals are flying where on how many planes at any time.
This may help with internal morale, however little more will be learned by the public on th operations of the secretive division of TSA.
