Weather prompts flight cancellations at Dallas-Fort Worth
Heavy snow and sleet prompted officials to cancel some 500 departing flights at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on Thursday. According to The Dallas Morning News, American Airlines would begin staffing ticket counters at 3:30 a.m. Friday to process new flights for customers. Stranded passengers tried to cope with the cancellations.
